Head of Commercial
Salary: £120,000 – £140,000, plus generous bonus, car allowance, pension and family healthcare

We are excited to say we are now looking for a Head of Commercial for one of our most prestigious and well-respected clients in the Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering industry.
Due to exceptional company performance, they’re now recruiting for a Head of Commercial to support and lead the Commercial team on many exciting projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking an exciting role with an excellent array of high-profile projects.
This would suit a candidate that has either a Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying background within the Engineering in construction industry.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of multiple installation projects from contract award to final account, including:
Be responsible for high levels of profit and loss on each project
Take overall responsibility for the Commercial Team
Manage a team of subordinates
Complete and discuss MEP monthly cost reports with the Directors
Oversee the procurement of suppliers and sub-contractors
Maximise contract values
Continuous profit monitoring throughout the project
Qualifications/Key Skills:
A Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar is highly desirable but not a prerequisite.
Solid understanding of the commercial process and financial matters
A strong background in MEP Building Services or Civil Engineering within a commercial/QS position. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
