Our client is a well-established and highly respected European electronics supplier is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Managing Director to lead its German operations.
The company delivers high-quality electronic components and tailored supply-chain solutions to automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics markets globally.
The Managing Director will hold full profit and loss (P&L) accountability for the German business unit, driving strategic growth, commercial excellence, and operational efficiency.
This individual will lead a talented, multidisciplinary team across sales, procurement, and logistics, ensuring the company maintains its competitive edge in a rapidly evolving market.
The Role
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to expand market share within Germany and the wider DACH region.
Commercial Growth: Identify new market opportunities, nurture high-value client relationships, and oversee key contract negotiations.
Operational Excellence: Streamline supply chain, logistics, and distribution processes to improve efficiency and maintain premium service delivery.
Financial Management: Manage the annual budget, optimise P&L performance, and deliver regular financial forecasts to the global board.
Team Development: Inspire, mentor, and scale the local team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance company culture.
The Person
Proven track record as a Managing Director, Country Manager, or senior commercial leader within the electronics, semiconductor, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
Strong financial acumen with extensive experience managing substantial P&L budgets.
Exceptional leadership skills, with a history of building and motivating cross-functional teams.
Deep knowledge of the German electronics market and supply chain dynamics.
Language Skills: Professional fluency in both German and English is essential.
