Role: Regional Sales Manager
Salary: $130,000 to $150,000 plus bonus and package (negotiable)

Our client is a major global construction equipment business who manufacture and sell heavy machinery to the; Construction Equipment and Material Handling sectors.

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager who will develop and maintain key dealer and rental relationships throughout the Midwest Region. This role will have a focus on Aerial Products, Access Equipment and Material Handling Products.

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Build a successful sales team around you – attract, develop and mentor new talent whilst maintaining leadership to the wider team.
Work across the Eastern and Central Regions to secure business with large dealers and rental houses.
Establish and maintain relationships with assigned Key Accounts and Distributors.
Oversee stock and inventory strategies with regional targeted customers and distribution networks.
Drive key account management activities and dealer development.

JOB AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of Sales/Commercial experience within the Construction Equipment Industry.
Must have deep understanding of Heavy Construction Machinery (or similar) basic engineering mechanism and market requirements.
5+ years of leading and managing a dealer network.
Deep understanding of full sales Lifecycle and able to perform data driven analysis and make strategic decision proposals.
Ability to lead and manage cross functional projects.
Ability to travel throughout the United States for customer visits and dealer development activities.
