Overview
A leading construction equipment manufacturer is seeking a Regional Vice President to lead operations across the Central United States. This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for regional performance, including commercial growth, operational excellence, and profitability.
The successful candidate will drive strategic direction, lead high-performing teams, and strengthen market position across a diverse customer base including dealers, contractors, and key accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & P&L Ownership
Own full regional P&L, including revenue growth, margin performance, and cost control
Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with corporate objectives
Identify growth opportunities across product lines, markets, and channels
Sales, Market Development and Operational Excellence
Lead regional sales teams to exceed volume, revenue, and market share targets
Strengthen dealer networks and distribution partnerships
Build and maintain relationships with major contractors, fleet owners, and key stakeholders
Drive improvements in forecasting, inventory management, and operational efficiency
Ensure alignment between sales, service, and aftermarket support functions
Monitor KPIs and implement performance improvement initiatives
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and develop a multi-functional regional team
Foster a high-performance, accountable, and customer-focused culture
Support succession planning and talent development
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
10+ years’ leadership experience within construction equipment or related industries
Proven track record of managing regional P&L and delivering commercial growth
Strong understanding of dealer networks and distribution models
Demonstrated ability to lead large, geographically dispersed teams
Willingness to travel extensively across the Central US
