Overview
A fast-growing construction equipment rental company is looking for a National Account Manager to develop and manage relationships with large, multi-site customers across the United States.
This role focuses on driving revenue growth through strategic account development, delivering tailored rental solutions, and ensuring exceptional customer experience across national accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Growth
Manage and grow a portfolio of national accounts within construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors
Develop strategic account plans to increase revenue, utilisation, and customer retention
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the rental fleet
Customer Relationship Management
Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers
Act as the primary point of contact for national customers
Ensure consistent service delivery across multiple branches and regions
Commercial & Contract Negotiation
Lead contract negotiations, pricing agreements, and service level agreements
Ensure profitable growth while maintaining competitive positioning
Monitor contract performance and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
Proven experience in national or key account management within equipment rental, construction, or industrial services
Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating large-scale contracts
Ability to manage complex, multi-location customer relationships
Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and travel as required
CRM experience and strong organisational skills
