An experienced HSE Manager is required by a well-established business operating within the UK Power and ICP (Independent Connection Provider) sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leader with a proven track record of delivering critical utility infrastructure projects across the UK.
The successful candidate will take lead responsibility for health, safety, and environmental performance across a variety of high-voltage (HV) and grid connection projects.
This role requires an active presence, splitting time between the head office and various site locations to champion a positive safety culture.
The Role
Oversee, develop, and maintain the company’s integrated HSE management systems in line with UK legislation.
Organise and conduct regular site audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections to ensure complete compliance.
Deliver safety briefings, advise site teams, and organise ongoing HSE training programmes.
The Person
Experience working as an HSE professional specifically within the UK Power, ICP, or high-voltage electricity transmission/distribution sector.
A strong understanding of NERS (National Electricity Registration Scheme) requirements, CDM 2015 regulations, and electrical safety standards.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levels, from site operatives to senior directors.
