Mechanical Engineer – Construction Equipment
Salary: €80,000 to €90,000 plus package
Location: Germany (with domestic and international travel)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to join an established manufacturer of heavy construction equipment. You’ll play a key role in the design, development and continuous improvement of a diverse range of machines, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovative, reliable products.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components and systems for construction equipment.
Support new product development and continuous improvement projects.
Produce and review engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
Collaborate with manufacturing, testing and supplier teams to ensure robust product performance.
Investigate field issues and implement engineering solutions.
Travel to customer sites, suppliers and manufacturing facilities across Germany and internationally as required.
About You
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience within construction equipment, agricultural machinery, off-highway vehicles, commercial vehicles or heavy industrial equipment.
Strong understanding of mechanical design, hydraulics and manufacturing processes.
Proficient with 3D CAD software.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Fluent English and German is essential.
