Our client is a leading UK national power contracting business is seeking a highly experienced and strategic individual to serve as its Executive Chair.
The successful candidate will provide exceptional leadership and governance, working closely with the executive team and the Board to define and deliver the company’s long-term strategic vision and ensure operational excellence across all national divisions.
This pivotal role requires a proven track record of success at the executive or board level, ideally within the power, utilities, or complex engineering/contracting sectors.
This is a unique opportunity for an influential leader to shape the future direction and success of a major player in the UK’s critical national infrastructure.
The Role
• The Executive Chair will be instrumental in:
• Driving significant growth and securing the company’s market position as a key national contractor.
• Managing critical stakeholder relationships, including government bodies, regulatory agencies, major clients, and investors.
• Overseeing and strengthening the company’s financial performance and capital structure.
• Upholding the highest standards of corporate governance, ethical practice, and safety across all operations, ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
• Mentoring and guiding the Chief Executive Officer and the wider executive team.

• Must demonstrate exceptional gravitas, strategic acumen, and a deep understanding of the energy or infrastructure sectors.
