Director of Engineering
Salary: $180,000 – $215,000 base + bonus and benefits

The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to lead product development, engineering strategy and technical innovation for a construction equipment manufacturer.
This is an opportunity to shape the next generation of heavy equipment, improve product performance and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in a commercially focused manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
Lead engineering strategy, product development and new product introduction.
Manage and develop high-performing engineering teams.
Drive improvements in product quality, reliability, cost and manufacturability.
Collaborate with manufacturing, product management, supply chain and commercial teams.
Evaluate new technologies, including electrification, automation and connected equipment.
Manage engineering budgets, project delivery and technical performance.
What we’re looking for
Significant engineering leadership experience within construction equipment, off-highway machinery or industrial manufacturing.
A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.
Experience leading product development from concept through production.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, powertrain or mobile equipment.
Excellent commercial, strategic and people leadership skills.
