We are partnering with a well-established and growing technology-led organisation seeking a commercially astute Sales Director to drive UK growth across advanced automation and building systems.

This opportunity is particularly well suited to a senior sales leader from the HVAC, building services, or environmental controls sector looking to broaden their impact into integrated automation and smart building solutions.

The Opportunity

This is a strategic leadership role with full responsibility for shaping and delivering the UK sales agenda. You will leverage your experience within HVAC and building technologies to expand into adjacent markets, positioning intelligent automation, controls, and energy-efficient solutions to a diverse industrial and commercial customer base.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a national sales strategy aligned with ambitious growth targets.
Identify and secure new business opportunities across HVAC, building management systems (BMS), controls, and wider industrial applications.
Strengthen and expand relationships with key stakeholders including contractors, consultants, OEMs, system integrators, and end users.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team focused on solution-based selling.
Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to deliver tailored, value-driven solutions for customers.
Maintain robust forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic account planning.
Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and key client engagements.
Monitor market trends including energy efficiency, decarbonisation, and smart building technologies.

About You

Proven track record in a senior sales leadership role within HVAC, building services, or related technical sectors.
Strong understanding of controls, BMS, energy management systems, or integrated building technologies.
Demonstrable success in delivering revenue growth, winning major contracts, and developing key accounts.
Inspirational leadership style with the ability to build and motivate successful sales teams.
Commercially driven with a strategic mindset and hands-on approach.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and commercial audiences.
UK-based with flexibility to travel nationally.
