Sourcing Manager – Global Operations (Thailand)

Our client, a globally recognised leader within the electronics and manufacturing sector, is expanding its international procurement function and is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to be based in Bangkok.
This is an exciting opportunity to take strategic ownership of sourcing activities across South East Asia, with a particular focus on Thailand and neighbouring markets. You will play a key role in strengthening regional supply partnerships while contributing to a highly integrated global operation.

The Role
As Sourcing Manager, you will take responsibility for procurement strategy and supplier performance across your assigned region.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with regional market dynamics and business objectives
Build and manage strong relationships with local and regional suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability, and ethical standards
Lead commercial negotiations to secure competitive, sustainable agreements with key partners
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including regulatory changes, tariffs, and logistical challenges within South East Asia
Work closely with international stakeholders, including UK and global teams, to ensure alignment between supply capabilities and business demand
The Person
We are looking to engage a commercially minded procurement professional with strong regional insight and an international outlook.
Proven experience sourcing within Thailand or wider South East Asia (Malaysia, Vietnam, or broader APAC exposure advantageous)
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures
Business-level English is essential; Thai language skills are highly advantageous, with additional regional languages considered a plus
Analytical and data-driven approach to procurement and supplier performance
Comfortable working within an international business environment across multiple time zones
