Role
For our client, we are looking to get in touch with an Operations Manager. In this new role, you will report directly to the Managing Director Benelux and will be responsible for the deployment, support, and efficiency of internal and external execution staff across the entire service organization. Additionally, you will liaise with clients and are responsible for quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Summary of the main tasks:
Provide service support for both new and used machines to customers, colleagues, and other international locations.
Directly manage the planners/work preparers, the workshop manager (with 14 technicians in their team), and the facility staff (Netherlands and Belgium).
Prepare quotes and warranty claims submitted by the Service department (customer contact!).
Coordinate the transport and delivery of new machines.
Ensure orderliness/cleanliness and safety in and around the workshop.
Develop, maintain, and archive repair and maintenance manuals in collaboration with the factories.
Contribute to decisions on investments in equipment and tools for the workshop.
Your Profile
MBO/HBO working and thinking level.
At least 5 years of experience in a workshop/service environment (broad technical knowledge is important, for example, having been a technician yourself in the past).
Good command of Dutch and English or German, both spoken and written.
Good knowledge of MS Office suite.
Customer- and service-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
Driven, approachable team player who is confident and assertive.
